Own War is a unique training program by Youth for Peace, designed to empower refugee youth to transform their personal stories of resilience and overcoming challenges into inspiring digital artworks. This initiative combines digital art, storytelling, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to help participants express their experiences creatively and impactfully.

Who Can Join

We welcome young refugees (male and female) who:

  • Have faced significant challenges and overcome them.
  • Are passionate about storytelling and digital creativity.
  • Want to share their journey to inspire others.

What Participants Will Learn

  • Digital Storytelling: Turning personal experiences into compelling narratives.
  • Digital Art & AI Tools: Using modern digital technologies to create meaningful art.
  • Creative Expression: Building confidence in sharing one’s story in a safe and supportive environment.

Program Details

  • Trainer: Ibrahim Yahya
  • Supervision: Sarah Sheikh Omar, Project Director
  • Format: Hands-on workshops combining storytelling, digital art, and AI applications.
  • Outcome: Participants create digital artworks based on their personal journeys, which can be shared with local and global communities.
